Mr. Keston is a member of the Board of Counselors of the USC School of Policy, Planning and Development, and is the Chairman of the Keston Institute for Public Finance and Infrastructure at the University of Southern California. He is an Adjunct Professor in the Masters Degree Program in Real Estate Development of USC since 1990, and has previously served as a member of the Policy Advisory Board of the Center for Real Estate and Urban Economics for the University of California, Berkeley. A native of New York City, Mr. Keston received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from City University of New York, a Master of Science Degree in Engineering from San Diego State University of Pennsylvania in 1966.
Michael Keston is very active in public service in his communities where he lives and works, and has served on the Board of Directors of many public and private agencies and entities including The California Regional Water Quality Control Board, Los Angeles Ventura Region as an appointee of the governor, the Board of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power as an apprentice of the Mayor and The Los Angeles Conservancy. He is currently a member of many community and trade organizations, including Heal the Bay and The Music Academy of the West, where he serves as a member of the Board of Directors.
